Terms of Service

By creating an account or using controlee.ai (the “Service”), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

controlee.ai is an operator dashboard that connects to third-party services you control — WordPress, Meta Business assets, Google Analytics, Cloudflare, GoDaddy, Mailgun, etc. — and lets you author and publish content, manage ads, and view analytics across them from one panel. You provide credentials for those third-party services; we store them encrypted and use them only to perform operations you (or scoped agent tokens you issue) request.

• You are responsible for keeping your password and multi-factor device secure. Multi-factor authentication is required.
• You are responsible for the content you publish through the Service to connected sites and social accounts. controlee.ai does not review or pre-approve content.
• You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to connect any third-party service — e.g. you own or are authorized to manage the Facebook Page, WordPress site, or ad account you connect.
• You may not use the Service to violate third-party Terms of Service (e.g. Meta's Platform Terms, Google API Terms, WordPress.org plugin guidelines).

The Service supports issuing scoped agent tokens that allow AI clients (e.g. Claude via MCP) to perform a defined subset of operations on your behalf. You are responsible for the scopes you grant. Tier 2 operations (money-spending, externally-visible publishing, credential changes) require a paired human approval within a 5-minute window even when invoked by an agent — this guardrail cannot be disabled.

The Service uses third-party AI providers (currently Anthropic) to generate drafts — article copy, captions, ad copy, brand voice suggestions. Drafts are proposals, not facts. You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated output before publishing. We make no warranty about accuracy, legality, or compliance of AI-generated content. For regulated categories (health, finance, legal) you should add explicit compliance review.

The Service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We don't guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free operation, or that the Service will meet any particular business need. Connected third-party services have their own terms, uptime, and limits — we are not responsible for their availability.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, controlee.ai will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any direct damages is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or $100, whichever is greater.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that we reasonably believe are being used to harm third parties. When an account is deleted, credentials and content data are purged per the Privacy Policy; audit log entries are retained for the period stated there for security purposes.

We may update these terms. Material changes will be posted here with a new “last updated” date and emailed to operators before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept it.
